The process is still a little slow \u2014 usually I stream the audio using RealPlayer and use Applescript and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ambrosiasw.com\/utilities\/freebies\/\">Wiretap<\/a> to automatically capture to disk, then trim using Quicktime Pro and convert to MP3 using iTunes. However, I&#8217;m pleased with the end result.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m still looking for good sources of audio talks, and welcome suggestions &#038; links. Here are the three I&#8217;ve most enjoyed so far:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/streams.wgbh.org\/forum\/\">WGBH Forum Network<\/a>: A large archive of free public lectures (some audio only, some audio + video), hosted by Boston&#8217;s public TV\/Radio network. I&#8217;m especially enjoying the MIT series of talks by Nobel Prize winners.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/wacsf.vportal.net\/\">World Affairs Council of Northern California<\/a>: Interesting talks on a wide variety of global topics. I often listen to this on my local public radio (KQED).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/programs\/npc\/archive.html\">National Press Club<\/a>: The NPC holds luncheon talks by people ranging from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/programs\/npc\/2003\/030910.drumsfeld.html\">Donald Rumsfeld<\/a> to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/programs\/npc\/2003\/030922.wmarsalis.html\">Wynton Marsalis<\/a>.
