I was sore tempted to swap out to <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.org\/\">WordPress<\/a>, since in general I prefer using open source software and I&#8217;m not all that pleased with MT&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.typekey.com\/\">Passport-like play for lock-in<\/a>, but in the end convinience and the prospect of having to redirect hundreds of blog entries and comments won out.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest upshot of this is that comments are now working again (I&#8217;d disabled\/broken them in a diluge of spam a while back), and hopefully the latest version of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jayallen.org\/projects\/mt-blacklist\/\">MT Blacklist<\/a> is up to the task.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve finally upgraded to the latest version of <a href=\"http:\/\/movabletype.org\/\">MovableType<\/a>.
