Stay alert! Trust no one! Keep your laser handy!-- Big Brother --

I saw this sign on the MBTA a few days ago, a part of their whole post-9-11-world Transit Watch Program.

Is it just me, or did this whole "Traitors Are Everywhere" schtick cross the line into self-parody a good while ago?

Not to nit-pick, but do say "9-11-2001". It's been a looong time.

Too long a phrase — I'm afraid 9-11 has become a proper noun like Perl Harbor and D-Day. Just imagine I spelled it with a capital "9."
