Ah, the days before streets were made for cars.

I tried to get fondue whenever possible. It's
a craving that's been building ever since Grendel's closed in
Boston.

After dinner we found a street circus had been
set up right outside our restaurant, complete with
fire-breather...

Which is not to say things haven't changed in
the church. The stained-glass windows, for example, were made in the
1970's by Marc Chagall..

There were waterfountains all over
Switzerland. And because the country is essentially surrounded by
glacial run-off, they just keep them turned on all the time.
